Cherly Salmon, FNP
Cheryl Salmon's dedication to the field of healthcare traces back to her early years in Brigham City, where she began her journey as a hospital volunteer, affectionately known as a "candy striper," at the tender age of 14. This early exposure paved the way for a distinguished career that spanned multiple roles and responsibilities.
Cheryl pursued her undergraduate studies at Weber State University, a foundation that served her well in her commitment to healthcare. With a drive to further enhance her knowledge, she embarked on her graduate studies at Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri.
As Cheryl progressed in her career, her roles evolved, mirroring her increasing expertise. From working as a CNA during her nursing school days to serving in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) as a CNA, LPN, and eventually an RN, her dedication to patient care remained a constant.
In 2008, Cheryl undertook a significant professional milestone by opening the ORMC wound clinic, reflecting her specialized interest in wound care. As a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), she showcased her versatility by working in diverse areas, including wound care, primary care, and as a hospitalist.
Continuing her pursuit of healthcare excellence, 2018 marked another significant achievement when Cheryl inaugurated her family practice clinic. Since then, she has been diligently catering to patients, providing wound care and primary care services.
On a personal note, Cheryl is the proud mother of four, three of whom are adults, and the youngest, a delightful reminder of life's unexpected joys at 15. Beyond her professional endeavors, Cheryl has a zest for life. She is an avid hockey fan, relishes live music, enjoys water skiing, and treasures traveling adventures with her lifelong companion.
